ABOUT CHURCHPOET!

Churchpoet site is dedicated to proclaiming the glory of God by uplifting others through poetry.   My name is La Gina Gross aka Churchpoet :)  I believe  I am the poet that God trusted with a gift of simple inspirational poems.  It is my hope that my poetry  will encourage and inspire you.

I began writing poetry in my hometown church in North Carolina when I was eleven years old.  I thought my role at that age was jus tot fill the church program bulletins with a   "thought for today" or to write a poem at various church events and celebrations. Through the years, I realized that my small role then ... is part of my destiny now as the Churchpoet!
